Carterville High School presents ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Student performers brought energy, music, and color to the stage in a lively retelling of the biblical story.

Carterville High School presented “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” March 28-29 at the Timothy Bleyer Auditorium.

Directed by Carterville School music teacher Carlyn Zimmerman, the performance featured a cast that showcased more than 25 songs, with the majority performed by the children’s chorus, as well as several energetic dance numbers.
The musical, originally written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, has remained a popular retelling of the biblical story of Joseph for more than 50 years.
