The JALC Highway Construction Careers Training Program held its fall graduation on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Carterville Community Center. Students prepared personalized speeches and were presented with certificates for completing the program. Two students, LaTaveon Gibbs-Caves and Tyree-McQueen Johnson, were recognized for perfect attendance during the semester. Many of the speeches were emotional, with students expressing gratitude for the support they received.
“HCCTP is building me to a better future, and that future is going to provide the tools that I need to provide for my family, my friends, and hopefully build new homes for America,” said graduate Ahmad Fobs.
