Devin Miller, Lead Instructor of Media Arts at John A. Logan College, worked with nearly 60 area high school students during hands-on photography sessions at Humanities Day on Wednesday. Students learned essential photography techniques while capturing portraits of their classmates.
The day offered students a chance to explore a variety of subjects and activities designed to spark creativity and critical thinking. From crafting unique cardboard sculptures and performing in a poetry slam to diving into discussions on Philosophy, Mythology, ASL, Foreign Languages, and Social Work, there was something for everyone.
The event gave future college students a glimpse into the diverse opportunities waiting for them at JALC.
