Hester offered how photojournalists can help combat misinformation in the age of AI and how she sometimes struggles to keep her work in the field and not bringing what she sees and experiences after hours.
The SIUC alum and Illinois native spoke to students and community members Monday, Oct. 21 at the college as part of the Social Science Speaker Series. More than 60 people attended the event.
