In Episode 6 of The Jam, volunteer reporter Michael Gunn interviews sophomore point guard Caden Hawkins. The Carterville native is eager to kick off the season as the team prepares to face Mineral Area College at the Three Rivers College Classic on Nov. 1.
“I think just bringing it every single day—there are going to be days when nobody feels good, some days you don’t want to be there, and it’s the last place you want to be—but it’s about having guys who are going to pick you up when you’re not at your best and just bringing that intensity every day,” Hawkins said.
