John A. Logan College sophomore Kameron Yearsley is putting together one of the biggest offensive seasons in NJCAA baseball history.
Through 49 games, Yearsley is batting .509 with 37 home runs, 94 RBIs and a 1.294 slugging percentage. He is one home run from tying the NJCAA single-season record of 38 and two from breaking it.
In this episode of The JAM, Yearsley reflects on his performance, the work behind his success and what he would tell other junior college athletes chasing the next level.
“Keep working your butts off and be the person you are,” Yearsley said.
Yearsley and the Vols are scheduled to host Danville Area Community College in a doubleheader at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
