John A. Logan College hosted a Mental Health and Psychology Career Panel on Wednesday as part of the Social Science Speakers Series. The discussion featured Donnie Winget, Jerrie Baxley-Brown, Jason Robershaw, and Monique Swaby, who shared insights from their professional experiences in counseling, psychology, and mental-health services. Panelists spoke about their career paths, educational requirements, and the growing need for qualified mental-health professionals. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the challenges and rewards of working in the field.
