Sen. Terri Bryant, who represents Illinois’ 58th Senate District, recently sat down with The Volunteer and reporter Emily Fulk to discuss her time as a legislator, work-life balance, the role of faith in her career, and the importance of political engagement.
“Don’t be afraid to step into the political realm,” Bryant said. “It’s not really that scary. It is hard work … the main thing is to get engaged. If I can do it, anyone can do it.”
